IMA Dombivli’s Annual Conference – IMAFEST - is a time, where for years together entire IMA Dombivli family comes together and enjoys the scientific feast! All members despite belonging to different specialities, come together at IMAFEST to strengthen our extended family bond! IMAFEST 22 was organised on12th and 13th November 2022 at Harmony – Symphony Hall, Dombivli Gymkhana. Excellent Scientific sessions were arranged by the scientific team. Prolific speakers of National and International repute participated in the conference. The prestigious Late Dr U.Prabhakar Rao oration was delivered by Eminent Psychiatrist and mental health activist Dr Harish Shetty, who spoke eloquently on ‘Mind and Heart – Friends or Foes’, which kept the audience enthralled and mesmerised. The conference was inaugurated by IMA Maharashtra State (then) President Elect Dr Ravindra Kute, who was the chief Guest and Dr Mangesh Pate, (then) IMA Maharashtra State Hon. secretary. The conference saw wonderful attendance of delegates and was extremely well appreciated by everyone! ‘Samar - Back to College’, was IMA Dombivli’s banquet night @ IMAFEST 2022, which was organized on 13th November 2022 at Symphony Hall, Dombivli Gymkhana. The event was fun filled, entertaining and refreshing, which took all participants down the memory lane, back to their college days! College katta, college library, college classroom, lots of games, lots of cheer, fish ponds, fashion show and many more activities were thoroughly enjoyed by one and all. This was followed by sumptuous dinner, fellowship and dancing to the tunes of DJ.
IMA DOMBIVLI organized MAHAHOSPICON (IMA Maharashtra State Conference of HBI) along with IMAFEST 2018 (Annual Conference of IMA Dombivli) on 1st and 2nd December 2018 at Dombivli Gymkhana. The conference witnessed a power packed program thanks to wonderful team work, great camaraderie and amalgamation of knowledge and culture. The highlights were -
IMA Dombivli took a giant leap under leadership of Dr Mangesh Pate and undertook IMA national conference of Hospital Board of India, for the 1st time in its history. The event was organized on 31st October and 1st November 2015 at Savitribai Phule Auditorium. Entire organising team of IMA Dombivli – Dr Makarand Ganpule, Dr Archana Pate, Dr Niti Upasani, Dr Leena Lokras, Dr Sangeeta Dandekar, Dr Preeti Nanda, Dr Nayana Chaudari, Dr Sunit Upasani, Dr Dilip Joshi, Dr Raju Gite, Dr mandar Pawar, Dr Utkarsh Bhingare, Dr Hemraj Ingale and others - took humongous efforts to organise the conference. Various teams – Scientific, Finance, Membership, Travel and Hospitality, Banquet, Souvenir – all worked incessantly for nearly 11/2 months to make this conference a grand success. The conference was attended by 600 delegates from all over India, 45 National and state IMA leaders including IMA National President Dr. Marthanda Pillai, IMA MS President Dr. T. C. Rathod, IMA HBI National Chairman, Dr.R.V.Asokan ad IMA MS HBI Chairman Dr Arun Pawde. Discussion and deliberations regarding various issues related to hospital practice and medical profession were done. IMA HBI 9th Council of States meeting was undertaken during Vibrance. IMA HBI Dombivli subchapter was formed. A Gala Banquet was organized at Kokan Ratna hotel which was thoroughly enjoyed by all participants.
